12/06/11 Morning Gestures

I did fewer today to concentrate on figuring out a bit more anatomy and how it can rhythmically flow.

Hi Richard,
I like what you've been doing here. I suggest you go back to the drawings of Nov.30th and compare the two.
The gestures in the Nov.30th posting are much more fluid and proportional. The Dec.16th drawings you have here are taking on a kind of distorted quirkiness. They look a bit lumpy and heavy handed.
I suggest that you try to remember the mood you were in as you were drawing on Nov.30th as opposed to the Dec.16th session. It might sound silly, but it actually makes a huge difference.
And...as I said the other night, don't be afraid to take off a day or two without doing any drawing. You'll find yourself more mentally rested when you return.
This is good work. You've come a long way indeed!!
